Canon George D. Smith

Canon George D. Smith, D.D., Ph.D. was a distinguished Catholic priest and theologian of the early twentieth century, known for his clear and vigorous defence of traditional doctrine. A learned scholar and canon of the Church, he wrote extensively on Our Lady and her unique cooperation in the work of Redemption. His book Mary’s Part in Our Redemption remains a concise and faithful exposition of the Church’s teaching on the Blessed Virgin’s intimate association with her Divine Son in the salvation of souls.
