An update from the Carmelite Sisters in Ireland

+ Ave Maria

Dear Friends and Benefactors,

We want to keep you all up to date with our progress. Last Monday we were able to move our three 10x8ft garden sheds (our temporary lodging), to our new land in the mountains. Both of us spent the last few days levelling the sheds and refitting the galvanised roof. So far we have no volunteers to assist us, save the invisible help we are receiving from Saint Joseph.

As you can see in the photos, we have ordered some building blocks so as to begin repair work on the old house as soon as possible. We do not have sufficient funds to hire building contractors to re-roof and rebuild the house. Much of the funds we received from generous benefactors in the last thirteen months have gone towards the purchase of this new land.

We ask you please to continue supporting us as best you can. Please also share our link with family and friends on social media so that we may be able to repair the old house and have at least a room to serve as an Oratory for the Blessed Sacrament.

We thank you all from the bottom of our heart for all your support and we assure you of our unceasing prayers for you and your family. With every donation we receive over 25 euro, we will happily send you a packet of sacramentals if you send us your postal address.

May God bless and repay your generosity a thousandfold!

Your Sisters in Christ,

Mother Irene & Community

I am so grateful to our Carmelite nuns for all their prayers and sacrifices. Praying every day for their continued perseverance while undergoing severe spiritual attacks from the outside. God bless and reward them!

Update on construction of St. Joseph's Carmelite Hermitage in Ireland

+ AVE MARIA

Dear Rev. Fathers, Friends and Benefactors,

Please take a moment to watch our latest video showing the progress we have been able to make on building St. Joseph's Carmelite Hermitage in Co. Cork, Ireland.

Thanks to your generosity, we have been able to purchase extra Cells to accommodate more candidates for Formation. Recently we had a lady from Canada trying her vocation with us for a three week live-in.. Because our house is still under construction and we had only two occupied Cells, it was necessary for one of us to sleep in the converted shipping container. So we badly needed extra Cells for aspirants to our way of life. Because we have yet much work to do on the main house, we decided to purchase wooden sheds and insulate them ourselves. Since the so-called plandemic started in 2020, the cost of building material has doubled in price. We depend on your on-going support.

Please share this video with your friends and family. You will be richly rewarded in heaven for your alms in building God's House. We too wish to show our gratitude by sending you a small gift of Blessed Oil of The Holy Face which burns perpetually in our Oratory before our Relic Image of the Holy Face. We are here for you and your family, making intercession day and night before the Tabernacle of the Most High.

Thank you and may God bless you all.

Mother Irene of the Holy Face & Community

It is such a blessing to see the cells going up for those discerning their vocation with you, Mother Irene! I know that "if you build it, they will come!" God is so good! Such progress in just a year! I am including the Carmelites of the Holy Face and all their special intentions in my St. Andrew novena starting tomorrow. God bless you and I pray we will see a new postulant soon!
